Chris Sutton weighs in on Newcastle Star

Published

on

Chris Sutton has had his say on winger, Allan Saint-Maximin.

The former Chelsea striker described the Newcastle winger as a ‘fantastic’ player.

Sutton has been particular impressed with how Saint-Maximin can glide past players.

Speaking on ‘The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live’, Sutton said: “He is an incredible player. He really really is.

“It looks like he is playing a different game to most other Premier League players, the way he goes past defenders.”

Saint-Maxim has really came into form under Eddie Howe, with the manager making him a key part of the team.

If you have been to St. James Park since Saint-Maximin arrived back in the Summer of 2019, for £16.5m. When the winger collects the ball, you can feel St. James Park come alive, the stadium is already in awe of what can be.

Under Howe, Saint-Maximin has stepped up adding more goals to his game, scoring 5 this season.
