Newcastle reach full agreement to sign most expensive player in their history!
Newcastle United have today reached a full agreement to sign AC Milan midfielder, Sandro Tonali.
Trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano has given it his infamous “Here we go” as the deal has now been agreed between the two clubs.
Newcastle are set to pay €70million with add ons to complete the deal that AC Milan want.
The deal will also include a sell-on clause worth 10%.
The midfielder has agreed personal terms on the contract until June 2029 – salary will be €7million plus €2million net per year.
Tonali becomes the record sale ever for an Italian player, the 5th biggest sale in Serie A history and the biggest sale in AC Milan.
With Newcastle United set for Champions League football next season, a lot of speculation was made on what kind of calibre of player they will sign, and this is most certainly a marquee signing for the club.

Sunderland late last night sacked Tony Mowbray as manager, they expressed gratitude to Tony and his assistant Mark Venus for their positive contributions over the past two seasons, stating that they will always be welcome back at the Stadium of Light and wishing them success in their future endeavors.
Sporting Director Kristjaan Speakman praised Tony’s impact, acknowledging his high regard among players, staff, and supporters. Speakman highlighted Mowbray’s role in guiding the team to the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs and his significant contribution to team development. He emphasized that while a difficult decision, it aligns with the club’s ambition and strategy.
