Newcastle United Fight breaks out as fan is escorted from St James Park – See video

Published

on

Sunday 7th May Newcastle United hosted Arsenal. The game was a ferocious game with lots of battling all over the pitch with tempers flaring at times.

Newcastle had won eight of their last nine games and suffered defeat just twice in their last 24 Premier League home games but could not find a route to goal despite Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak both striking the woodwork and a VAR handball decision being reversed. Ultimately the game finished 2-0 with a Martin Odegaard goal from 30 yards on 14 minutes before a Fabian Schar own-goal wrapped it up in the second half.es but could not find a route to goal despite Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak both striking the woodwork.

The result saw Arsenal’s title hopes stay alive in the race vs Manchester City. We spoke to both Newcastle United and Arsenal fans for our YouTube channel with videos coming soon – subscribe to us to be alerted when these videos are published and also for more local videos…

It was not however just battling on the pitch as the footage below shows a fan being escorted away in the Newcastle United fan section near the away end after causing a fight. While we are unable to verify, there are reports this was an Arsenal fan in the Newcastle end….

Watch Yankuba Minteh score first goal for Feyenoord in 5-1 win on Sunday

Published

Newcastle United loanee Yankuba Minteh has scored his first competitive goal for Feyenoord, scoring in Sunday’s 5-1 win over FC Utrecht.

After starting in their 6-1 win over Almere City last weekend, the Gambian teenager came off the bench and scored in stoppage time, rounding the goalkeeper and finishing calmly to seal another convincing victory for the Dutch champions.

This rounds off a positive few weeks for the 19-year-old winger, who was our first summer signing after sealing a £6m move from Danish side Odense.

Last month he helped spark a comeback draw away to local rivals Sparta Rotterdam, before starting his first Eredivisie game against Almere. Now, he’s come off the bench and bagged his first goal for the club.
