WILD SCENES AS NUFC FANS CELEBRATE GETTING TO CARABAO CUP FINAL! Newcastle United off to Wembley!!

Published

on

Newcastle fans celebrate a 2-1 win over Southampton as Newcastle sealed their spot in the Wembley Cup.

Fans were in a rowdy celebration as Newcastle has cemented their spot in the Wembley Cup!! Alongside victorious cheers we have the fans reflect on and predict Newcastle’s future in the wake of having players such as Jonjo Shelvey leave. Can the new generation of younger players help shape the future of Eddie Howe’s leadership of NUFC?

After a 1-0 victory the previous week, the Magpies had a slim advantage over the Saints going into the encounter. However, Sean Longstaff, a local player, scored two brilliant goals to send Eddie Howe’s team to Wembley.

After a tense second half in which Bruno Guimaraes was given a straight red and had a few near calls, Southampton did manage to recoup a goal of their own. The Geordies will be visiting Wembley in a few weeks, so none of that matters. Here is all the information you require to attend the historic event in person.

When will the Carabao Cup be decided?

Following the conclusion of the second leg of their respective matches, Manchester United or Nottingham Forrest will play Newcastle. The final will take place at Wembley on February 26, 2023, after the finalists have been chosen.

When will the ticket sales start?

When and how much tickets will cost are still up in the air at this time. The number of tickets allotted to each team will vary, and they will each sell them via their own websites. However, we must first wait to see how Man Utd and Notts Forest fare.

Liverpool gave first dibs on final tickets to fans who had attended at least three of its Carabao Cup games, which included the nail-biting final between Liverpool and Chelsea last year that concluded in a penalty shootout.

How much will the Carabao Cup final tickets cost?

The official ticket price has not yet been announced and won’t be until the two finalists have been selected. To have a better idea of how much tickets will cost this time around, we can always look back at the previous season’s costs.

The most expensive tickets at level one were category one tickets, which cost £100 for adults, £75 for young adults, and £50 for concessions. The lowest tier was category five, where adult tickets cost £40, young adult tickets cost £30, and concession seats were £20.

There were two price ranges for premium level two tickets, with the highest costing £150 for adults and the lowest costing £125.

How many tickets are going to be sold?

Wembley Stadium has a staggering 90,000 seating capacity. Each club has received about 33,000 tickets in past years, but you can anticipate that some of those will go to VIPs, corporate seats, and the media.
